What it costs and why it varies
Price depends on the vehicle and the type of key. A basic cut key for an older car is cheap. A proximity key for a recent model carries a chip and a fob, so it costs more, and an all keys lost job takes longer than copying an existing key.

Get a spare before you need one
Nearly every car key call we take is somebody down to their last key, or none. A spare cut in advance turns an expensive emergency into a non event.

Can you make a key if I have lost every one?
In many cases yes. An all keys lost job takes longer than copying a spare because the key has to be generated to the vehicle rather than cut from an existing one. Call with the year, make and model and we will confirm before we come out.
Do you program the chip, or only cut the key?
Both. A cut key with no programming will open the door but will not start a car with a transponder. We cut and program so the key actually works.
Is this cheaper than the dealership?
Usually, and you do not pay for a tow, because we come to the car. We will also tell you honestly if your particular vehicle is a case where the dealer is the better route.
