Measuring, and why it is worth getting right
A new door is measured to the opening, the headroom above it and the side room either side, and the track type follows from that. Low headroom garages need a different track than standard, and that is decided before anything is ordered rather than on install day.
We measure, show you the styles that fit the opening, and give you the price fitted, including taking the old door away.
Insulation, and what it does in a Boise winter
An insulated door is rated by R-value. In a garage that is attached to the house, or used as a workshop, it makes a real difference to how cold the space gets and how hard the house works to stay warm. In a detached garage used for storage it matters much less.
We will tell you which of those you have rather than selling the highest number on the brochure.
